Could i trade in my WII and Yellow light PS3 at gamestop for a XBOX 360?

Alright, so i have a wii and a yellow light ps3. Now i never got the ps3 for very long and that pissed me off, ive had the WII for a while, its rather old and dusty, so its blocking the laser. I want a xbox 360, i dont care about your personal opinions on it, i just want to know if its possible that if i traded in my

Wii
Yellow light ps3 (no controller)
2 Controllers for the wii
1 nunchuck
4 wii games

for a
Used (but working, no redlight) XBOX 360 (no kinect bullshit)
and 3 games.

Yes it would work i own 360 and a ps3 and i like 360 the best this deal would actually work but u would maybe just want to trade one of those consoles and pay about 30 dollars but anyway yes this deal is possible

I want to sell my Xbox 360 pro to get the new 360 slim 250 gig. How much could I get with the following?

Kinect
Headset
5 kinect games Motion sports, Kinectamels, Kinect adventures, Dance central, Kincect joyride
8 360 games Sneak king, big bumpin, pocketbike racer, madden 10, lego inidana jones, star wars force unleased, and ghost recon advanced warfighter 2
also standerd av cables power brick and cables.

You would be better off selling it on ebay as a bulk instead of gamestop they only give you a small %.

will the kinect work on an older xbox 360?

Okay so I bought the xbox 360 slim and kinect bundle right? Well I didn’t want the kinect so I sold it to a friend. They tried to connect it to his xbox but they said it doesn’t fit in any of the USB ports. We called one gamestop and they said the kinects that actually come with the 360 slim don’t work at all on older xboxs. Then we called another gamestop and they said that they do but you need to get some kind of cord online to do it. does anybody know the right answer?? Please give as much details as you can. Thank you.

The Kinect will work, but when it connects to an older Xbox it needs a special power cord because it needs more power than a normal USB port can supply. One of these is what you need: http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/en_US/pd/productID.221244000 but you can probably find it other places cheaper.

Wheres the best place to buy a xbox 360 4gb with kinect bundle?

I was just wondering if anybody had any suggestions on where to buy an xbox 360 4gb with kinect, other then where I have already researched? This is what i’ve looked at so far:
Bestbuy: $300 with a free $50 giftcard.
Gamestop: $300
Amazon: $270
Target: $300
Walmart: $300 with a free $50 giftcard
Kmart: $300
So really it looks like the best place to buy it at is Walmart or Best Buy, Does anybody else happen to have a good place to look that I haven’t thought of? Thanks!

Those are all the best places to look unless you want to buy used. Personally I would chose to go with Best Buy but Wal- Mart is great too.

Is the Xbox 360 worth buying now?

I’ve wanted an Xbox 360 for a while, but recently while voicing this want in Gamestop, an employee overheard and told me “You don’t want an Xbox, trust me.”
When I asked him why, he said that within the next year or so, all Xbox games will be made for the Xbox Kinect, not the 360 anymore.

Has anyone heard this same thing?
Is it true?
Is it worth it to buy an Xbox if it is true, and just waste my money?

Well… That doesn’t matter, you could still buy the Xbox and then buy the Kinect Sensor… Like whether you buy the old one, or the new one (which i recommend), you will have the option to plug in the Kinect and play… About ALL the new games being on kinect, well.. Could be, and could be not… You see there are some videos on youtube that covered Microsoft’s 2011 E3 (IGN’s videos) and i don’t know on which part of the conference, but it shows that the new Ghost Recon will have weapons customization and stuff, and it will all be by motion/voice watch it and you’ll see… But other than that, i don’t see what he’s telling you “You don’t want an Xbox”…
