Can I return an Xbox 360 and Kinect to Best Buy if I opened it?
I bought a gears of war 3 Xbox 360 slim and a kinect sensor bar from best buy about a week ago and finally opened it today and I hate it already. Is it possible for me to return them at best buy? I do have the original receipt and repacked them and it looks almost the same as when I opened them brand new. Both items are in perfect condition and I am aware of restocking fees.

Yes you can. Ive returned several things to best buy after opening them. Some of the things I’ve returned are a pair of beats by dre, tritton ax pros and ps3 wireless headset. I used the ps3 headset and the beats for 15 days and i still was able to return them.

I want to buy xbox with kinect sensor but I just want to hear from you if u ever played with kinect sensor before , is it laggy or unresponsive to body motion ?

Its not laggy anywhere. The kinect sensor tends to copy all my moves exactly the same. Its recommended it has lots of fun games like kinect adventures, gun-stringers, fruit-ninja, kinect sports season 2, kinect Disneyland adventures, dance central 2 etc. From my bookmarks here you would be able to find an excellent review on xbox kinect that should help you out on this decision:

Best Buy Xbox 360 warranty?
I bought an Xbox 360 4gb with Kinect at bestbuy.com.
I just received it and it came with a bestbuy return policy paper.
I doesnt was like a ticket, it just says the item and the sku and best buy logo, etc..
So this is my ticket for the Microsoft one year warranty too? Or i just have the monthly Best Buy warrant?

The Microsoft warranty is separate from the Best Buy warranty. Your receipt is all you need for both. For Microsoft, they just need proof of purchase with a date on it. The Best Buy warranty requires that you have the receipt with the SKU on it. They should have emailed you a copy of it as well.

Can I use my free Best Buy gift card on the same purchase I receive it on?
When you buy an Xbox 360 with Kinect bundle at Best Buy you receive a $75 gift. I would like to know if you can use that gift card on the Xbox/Kinect bundle that you get it with.

You can’t. The gift card isn’t active until the sale is complete, so you can’t apply the gift card to the sale that gives you the gift card.
If you were buying more than just the bundle, then you could pay for the bundle by itself and get the gift card, and then apply the gift card to the rest of the stuff you want.

If you like moving and watching movies go for 250Gb WITH KINECT
If you like Gaming And Sitting in your chair all day playing go for 4GB of course without watching movies
If you like both but without watching movies i dunno but go for kinect 4gb
I personally like 4GB is cheaper and each save game in the games i like is 300-MB so yeah

I originally had it wkniorg perfectly by chance, I just rebooted the system a few times when it was playing up and suddenly it just stopped causing my keyboard and mouse to lockup, but I tried getting that to work again and no luck second time around.Another thing that works is installing your Operating System from boot CD with all your USB devices connected in particular any gaming stuff or input devices like mouse and keyboard, that way windows seems to configure everything properly and doesn’t conflict with those devices later when you decide to add the wireless xbox reciever, so that is an option for when you format next obviously, unless you’re losing sleep over it then do it now!P.S. I can’t vouch for other mothboards and their usb power issues which may also be causing the same problem, though it seems unlikely to be that, I think people are having success with the addition of a powered usb hub to run the wireless controller not for the fact its got a dedicated power supply, but because it is just a whole new usb hub seperate from conflicts with the other motherboard based hubs. Another thing I also found out and worked is if you run a razer mouse or another type of mouse that increases the usb polling rate, the inclusion of the wireless xbox receiver causes the mouse to lock up, I have a razer mouse set at 1000hz polling rate, after installing the wireless xbox I had to bring it back to 125 default rate to get it wkniorg together. I later reinstalled the OS and funnily I can run it at 1000hz again with everything connected, as I had it all connected on OS install so no conflicts were created. As far as my razer keyboard goes, it wouldn’t work prior to reinstalling OS with the xbox thingy connected but does now, so I just used a PS2 keyboard for the time being. I highly recommend hooking everything up to the system and just restarting it a few times, as sometimes it just decides to work again and it stays that way, use the ps2 keyboard and/or mouse to operate it when the usb based ones don’t work.Good luck, and yes I also spent hours and hours mucking around with this M$ BS, If only we could charge them for the time we spend and waste for their fk ups they would be paying us to use their software.
