Reviews on xbox kinect?

I’d like to ask your opinion on the xbox kinect. Let me know what you like and don’t like about it an also what games I should get for it I would e getting the games for a tenage girl who loves to dance so something that would be girly would help? Or anything active and fun

Well let me say this its about your playing style if your into the COD and Assaisins creed game like shooting violence games i wouldnt reccomend it. Its more like family games, llike active and nice lol hard to explain but yah its all about wht you like

Xbox 360 slim or Ps3 slim (ps move or kinect as well)?

i dunno wat 2 get for christmas. i can pay for the online on xbox but is it worth it, and how much is that really. 90 percent of the ppl i know have an xbox. but my best frend has a ps3 and he really wants me 2 get it. Im not bothered about exclusive games. But i am about ps move and kinect. and does the blu ray player give the ps3 an edge in graphics comparison. I am willing to play online, and i am getting blown up with GET AN XBOX OR GET A PS3, but i dunno wat 2 get. plz plz plz plz help me. I will probably use the console evry weekend and play online a lot. 10 POINTS TO THE BEST ANSWER!!! also, has the xbox slim lost the RROD?? detailed answer t this will earn 10 POINTS!! and a valid source. i have seen the cnet video and i still dont no wat 2 get??? if u can send me a link to a good website for a review. That depends on what you need , if you’re a hardcore gamer then choose xbox but if you need a proper blu-ray player and wi-fi and a free online experience then go with the ps3.
Personally i think that kinect and move are both useless bec. Most people would like to come back home and enjoy a game not jump up and down like that.
(the graphics on both consoles are about the same)

Reviews/Opinions on: Kinect and Black Ops?

Ok, so Kinect was launched a few days a go. and I was wondering how doe sit work? I mean, I got to try the PlayStation Move but I didn’t like it at all, it feels like playing a Wii and it must be calibrated every time you switch game or gamer hand direction (right or lefty)
When they first launched the project I was like, this is not going to be possible, I mean, it seems way too futuristic, but beats me, they seem that they did.

As for Black Ops, I preordered but stupid videogame store had problems anyway, I know everyone was talking about Medal Of Honor was or is, going to be better than Black Ops, but I mean obviously, Medal Of Honor hadn’t launched Sh*t in like 5 years, they had to make a nice comeback with all the Call Of Duty past games (Modern Warfare). Since they announced MoH, I didn’t like it much, cause it seemed a way to strategic game-style and for me that makes the game kinda slow, although the single player I’m interested in trying. They say they combined the best of CoD (doubt it) and Battlefield Bad Company 2, I played this last one, the online gaming, it totally sucked I didn’t like it, tho the single player was nice, but obviously the online multiplayer is what one most spend the time playing, so I didn’t like it, and if MoH was going to be alike, then it doesn’t catch much my attention.

ANYWAYS, Bottom line is: have you tried the Kinect? What are your opinion when you tried it? Did you like it? Did it make your expectations? Did you already play Black Ops? Have you played MoH and what are your comparisons?

And my opinions Kinect is GREAT!!! Better than the ps Move. (Move wasn’t as good as i though it would be)
Black Ops IS a must buy!!
And MoH is only good for the single player, the multiplayer is way too campy and not too strategic like Battlefield Bad company 2

How is Kinect for Xbox 360?

please make me a short review on all of its features and all of its pros and cons

i don’t want a review from someone who played a demo of it just someone who has bought it and set it up in home and tried the features

i don’t care about the games being bad because i believe they will get better in time… but what i do care about is how laggy the games are.

I own the Xbox Kinect and had a blast playing it. It’s great with friends and we couldn’t get enough of it. I don’t usually play those types of games, I’m what you may call a Hardcore Gamer. However I am very impressed with the Kinect. I had my doubts about it but once you put in a game and try it with some friends you’ll love it.

Pros: Easy set up just plug it in. It comes with a Kinect Adventures but Kinect Sports (sold separately) was more fun. It’s amazingly smart. I can set it up for me and it will recognize my facial features. As I played I sometimes I would let someone else play and it would even change avatars. When I returned my Avatar was back on the screen which was impressive. Great with groups of friends and parties, but I played on my own for a good while also. It’s responsive and really see’s the human shape very well. It knows your hands and has a small radar type screen to let you know your acknowledged. Voice Recognition is great too! You can command it to play games switch menus and enter menus which is cool. You can also chat through it’s speaker with friends. Not very practical while playing a game it’s hard to hear the person. It also takes takes photos and video during gameplay, which is funny as hell when it reviews them. Very fun stuff.

Cons: There is a slight lag but it’s not a big deal and once you start playing you get used to it. It recognizes hands too well. If your friends are jerks they’ll try select menus while you are, and the Kinect gets confused. Nothing a punch in the arm won’t solve. Lack of menu access on the Kinect dashboard. It only works with Xbox items, Zune, FMradio, and not everything like netflix, facebook, or twitter. You also can’t scroll through all your friends with the Kinect. It’s very basic menu stuff for what they showed on everything they advertised. I’m sure all it will take is a update so assuming give that part time.

So my review is a 4 out of 5. I enjoyed it very much along with all my friends. I was skeptical at first and didn’t think it would work well, but it really does. It’s definitely fun and the lag you’ve heard about isn’t a big deal.

i was about to buy kinect but then….?

i was this close of buying kinect, until, i saw this persons review on gamestop.com, he said that its reallt stupid because the game works itself you barely add any movement,
now what fun is dat? i was really lookin forward for the boxing, but w.e, wass dat guys comment true?

Yes it is true, kinect moves by itself even if you don’t move, it’s rubbish. Wii is much better, as it is the OG – original gangster motion control – not a copy.
