Chantelise won’t work with Xbox 360 Controller?

I just downloaded the Chantelise demo on Steam, but when I plug in my Xbox 360 controller to play it, nothing happens. It works fine with Recettear, so why not with this? Is there something special I need to do?
Thanks David! It works now! :D

Leslie Tompkins answers:

This happens to me on occasion. Some games just aren’t compatible with the 360 controller. Try reconnecting the controller. If it doesn’t work, save your game and Alt-tab out and back in again. Usually this works. If not, unplug the controller, exit the game, replug the controller, then launch again.

Xbox 360 controller need help it freezes?

I need help with my xbox 360 controller I was playing sniper warrior online and my controller froze like the 360 was still working fine but my Controller froze and the joy sticks and A, B, X, and Y don’t work but all other buttons would and it is so annoying because I would crouch and the character would stand up by himself then would not move for at least a minute and then Controllerll would work fully again any Ideas why this would be happening.

Leslie Tompkins answers:

Maybe battery trouble? Make sure the battery pack is fully charged… If not there isnt any way to open the controller up and fix it… The only option would be to get another controller… It would be worth it.. Even to get a used one because that sounds hella annoying

Michael asks…

My Xbox 360 controller lags when HDTV is set to 720p (native resolution) but not on 1080p? Why?

Its weird. I get a delay when I press a button on my controller (wireless) to the screen on the native resolution the TV was set to (720p), but when I change the settings to 1080p, it works fine. Why is that? TV is an Element 720p HDTV.

Leslie Tompkins answers:

Just guessing but… Is the Xbox 360 video set to 1080? If so, then the TV has to downscale and that causes lag. If both the Xbox and the TV are set to 720 then there should be no lag.

Why isnt my xbox 360 working?

I have no idea what is wrong with my xbox 360. This is hard explain but ill do da best i can. Okay so whenever i turn my xbox 360 on it doesnt show that my controller is connected. I reconnected it and still it doesnt show that it is connected. You know how when you turn on your xbox 360 it comes up with the xbox 360 sign and makes that noise well that isnt even coming up. I checked to see if it was my t.v. and its not. . I tried it this morning and it worked but then when i got home from school it didnt work.. last night it didnt work neither. So what can possibly be wrong?

Leslie Tompkins answers:

You might have switched the switch that turns from regular TV to High Def TV on the cords. Other than that your Xbox is probably broke. From there I would explore ways to get it replaced.
